The Golden Globes kick off awards season tonight, and Hollywood is ready. Besides the always-anticipated speeches and glam comes a much-buzzed-about launch from Dermalogica—making its debut on none other than first-time nominee Adam Brody.
Nominated for Best Performance by an Actor in a Television Series – Musical or Comedy for Netflix’s hit Nobody Wants This, Brody’s groomer, Kim Verbeck, partnered with the skin-care brand for some award-ready glow.
On the complexion agenda: Verbeck prepped the skin with the brand’s tried-and-true Daily Microfoliant. “This product is perfect and gentle enough for everyday use, and I usually like to have my client use it daily for at least one to two weeks leading up to an event because it really smooths and brightens up the skin,” she says.
After exfoliating, Verbeck reached for Dermalogica’s Circular Hydration Serum. “I’ll usually start with the hair while it sets,” she continued. “That way, it really gives time to plump the skin.”
After the serum set in, Verbeck says she gave a face massage with the to-be-released-tomorrow Multivitamin Power Recovery Cream, specifically designed to soothe and restore stressed and dehydrated skin. Made with a powerful blend of skin-repairing vitamins, antioxidants and peptides, the cream is clinically proven to show more radiant skin after just one application. “This product is perfect for solving stressed skin, smoothing fine lines and adding the right amount of moisture to set the face for whatever makeup or powders I need to apply.”
Lastly, Verbeck used the Phyto Nature Lifting Eye Cream. “I love the way this cream smooths the entire eye area and preps the eyelid for any makeup application. It’s hydrating enough to help me blend in a little bit of eye concealer under and/or on the eyelid if needed.”
