Hundreds of products come across our editors’ desks every month, but not all of them deliver on their claims or live up to the hype. (Not everything that goes viral on TikTok is a miracle worker.) This is our exclusive curation of the best-in-class beauty products receiving rave reviews from our team and hitting shelves right now. From Dior’s first-ever retinol to Le Mini Macaron’s adorable nail polish collection, we’ve got the scoop on all the newness.

The Best New Beauty Products Launching This Month

Dior Capture Totale Retishot ($110)

The brand’s first-ever retinol, this lightweight, nighttime cream targets six age-related skin quality issues: visible pores, dullness, roughness, unevenness, imperfections, and marks caused by the sun or acne. We love that the formula is also housed in triple-chamber packaging that blocks light and oxygen to prevent oxidation and retain potency.

Dior’s new Capture Totale Retishot is a high-performance retinol that can improve the quality of skin within just one week,” says Sean Garrette, Dior U.S. skin care expert. “I’m so excited about this formula because for some time, retinol has been seen as a product that can be irritating and complicated to use. Retishot makes the addition of a retinol in your routine seamless. I recommend new retinol users incorporate it into their routine two nights per week, and experienced users can use it nightly.”

Shark FlexFusion Straight ($400)

Smaller, lighter and more powerful than its predecessor, this wet-and-dry air-styling and straightening system comes with several attachments. First, a speedy blowdryer with dermatologist-developed Scalp Shield technology to protect from high heat. You also get two 1.24-inch auto-wrap curlers that do the work for you, as well as a Wet & Dry Styling Brush that gives you salon-worthy blowout vibes. And lastly, the Fusion Straightener, which can dry and straighten your hair simultaneously without damaging your strands. It’s a multitasking wonder!

Missha M Perfect Serum BB Cream ($26)

The brand’s viral, best-selling M Perfect Cover BB Cream now comes in a serum-based skin tint. Imagine if Missha’s BB Cream and Night Repair Ampoule had a baby. Chock-full of probiotics and antioxidants, it nourishes and protects, while lending a subtle hint of color. The formula currently comes in four shades, but the brand will be expanding the range early next year.

“Our new Serum BB Cream embodies our commitment to clean ingredients and innovative formulations,” says Diane Lee, marketing manager. “Enriched with bifida ferment lysate and anti-aging superfoods, this unique BB cream offers more than just flawless coverage; it actively nourishes and revitalizes your skin. Our goal is to deliver a radiant complexion you can also feel good about!”

Epicutis Arctigenin Brightening Treatment ($175)

Not a fan of vitamin C for topical use, Epicutis founder and CEO Maxwell Stock set out on a mission to find a better way to brighten. Utilizing science and research from his biotech company, Signum Biosciences, he isolated a key ingredient from hundreds of potential molecules to take this new formula to the next level.

“We’ve been developing this technology for nearly six years,” says Stock. “Arctigenin is a molecule that we derived from burdock root, which is a common vegetable in Asian cuisine, and people take burdock health supplements orally. We’ve developed an extraction process to allow for very high levels of arctigenin, which is able to reduce melanin in human skin. This ingredient is very soluble, stable and safe, unlike vitamin C and other brighteners like hydroquinone. Plus, arctigenin is not only a brightening agent, but also an anti-inflammatory agent that helps with redness. We’re excited to redefine the category with this formula.”

Le Mini Macaron Le Sweet Nail Polish ($10 each)

You probably know the brand’s adorable gel manicure kits (they look like French macarons), but now a new traditional air-dry nail polish is joining the collection. Needing something to keep her nails colorful while taking breaks between gel manis, cofounder and co-CEO Christina Kao dreamt up Le Sweet.

Available in 28 shades plus a base and top coat, the collection contains natural, nail-loving extracts like blueberry, avocado and spinach, as well as biotin for some strengthening. Together, the ingredients are 85-percent plant-based, and the formula lasts up to six days. The macaron-shaped outer cap is one of the cutest things we’ve seen all year, and you can remove it if necessary for more control while painting.

bioelements Daily Meds Acne-Clearing Serum ($64)

Acne can be incredibly frustrating, but the formulas to help diminish it are more advanced (and efficacious) than ever before. This daily serum contains 2-percent salicylic acid, as well as multilevel glycolic, lactic and azelaic acids, but it isn’t too drying. To make the formula well-balanced, the brand balanced out the acids with niacinamide and soothing botanical extracts that keep barrier health in mind.

“You can think of it as your daily topical supplement,” says New York dermatologist Hadley King, MD. “It not only targets breakouts, but also works to combat fine lines and dullness. This product works to fight acne in an effective way using salicylic acid, lactic acid and glycolic acid while incorporating azelaic acid and niacinamide for post-inflammatory hyperpigmentation and barrier-building botanicals to soothe the skin simultaneously.”

Rodan + Fields Contour Neck Treatment ($95)

There’s a reason the tagline “don’t forget your neck” is so popular: So many people focus their skin-care efforts on their face and neglect their neck. It may not be evident at first, but a few years down the road, the visual difference is clear. This game-changing, lightweight formula (it absorbs quickly) helps prevent and correct everything from sunspots and deep lines to platysmal banding and crepey skin.

Key ingredients include retinol, hyaluronic acid and collagen-boosting DPHP. Together, the brand says they “visibly lift, smooth, firm and tighten the skin, all while supporting collagen-depleted areas for a rejuvenated appearance.”

Josh Rosebrook BioIdentical Collagen Serum ($110)

Josh Rosebrook’s latest breakthrough skin-care product utilizes molecular biofermentation technology. “BioIdentical Collagen Serum represents a significant breakthrough in biofermentation technology,” says Rosebrook. “Our novel Bioidentical Collagen Complex allows us to offer a 100-percent human skin identical, vegan, micro-molecular collagen that penetrates the skin, integrates into the collagen matrix, and infuses complete Type 1 collagen, delivering results that were previously thought impossible.”

The serum is plumping and firming, but also absorbs quickly for a second-skin effect. And, it’s refillable. If you know Josh, you know he’s examined every tiny detail time and time again to make this formula perfect.

Style Chemistry by Conair Starter Kit ($40)

We love this idea! You purchase a Starter Kit with one attachment (a 1-inch curling wand) and then you can choose from a collection of other attachments (there are seven total) to purchase separately depending on your hairstyling needs. Each of them fits into the same base, allowing you to achieve curls, sleek strands, big waves or anything in between, without storing unnecessary clutter. The Deep Waves attachment is $30 and the others are all $15 each.

“We created Style Chemistry in response to consumers’ desire for more sustainable and customizable options that are both effective and affordable,” says Michelle Stearns, Conair’s senior director of marketing. “The interchangeable wand lets users customize their style experience with one base that’s compatible with seven different attachments, which cuts down on waste, saves space and provides a versatile experience for all hair types, textures and lengths.”

DefenAge 12-Factor Revitalizing Lip Enhancer ($72)

I’ve long been a fan of DefenAge’s 8-in-1 BioSerum (among other products), and now, the brand is expanding into the lip category. According to the brand, many customers were applying the BioSerum on their lips, so they were inspired to make a product that was specifically meant for (and tested for) the lip area. It’s very hydrating, and I also like the nonsticky texture, which seems to absorb more than the thicker, glossier treatments. The airless pump packaging for formula stability and subtle vanilla flavor are added benefits, too.

“You’re getting the brand’s hallmark defensins mixed with niacinamide, hyaluronic acid and other efficacious ingredients,” says New York dermatologist Jessica Weiser, MD. “It’s called 12-Factor because there were 12 key, lip-specific ingredients added to the formula. It not only gives you the benefit of a pretty, velvety-finish and subtle plumping effect right away, but also long-term, anti-aging lip care.”

Ellis Brooklyn Vanilla Milk Shimmering Scented Body Oil ($70)

For those who love the brand’s best-selling Vanilla Milk eau de parfum, this new body oil is a no-brainer. And if you’re not familiar but you love vanilla fragrance in general, add this to your wish list stat. The scent is warm and cozy in a fuzzy cardigan kind of way, but the champagne shimmer and radiant glow this oil gives your skin will have you swapping the cardigan for a sexy slip dress.

Jojoba and sunflower seed oils impart long-lasting moisture so skin feels pampered, not greasy. As the brand describes it: “It provides the moisture and glow everybody craves in the colder months. It’s like instant sun!”

U BEAUTY Resurfacing Flash Peel ($188)

Looking for a game-changing at-home peel that transforms your skin in just five minutes? This is it. Oftentimes when you do a peel, your skin might feel dry and tight afterward, which means your skin barrier isn’t very happy. This formula, on the other hand, simultaneously nourishes the skin as it chemically exfoliates thanks to the brand’s signature and proprietary SIREN Capsule technology. Also, if you use the brand’s beloved Resurfacing Compound, use this in place of it once a week.

“The best way I can describe this is that it just eats away all the dead skin and leaves you with baby-butt skin,” says founder Tina Chen Craig. “Everything is tight and snatched, and people who have tried it have even gone on the red carpet right after using it. To me, it’s a 90-minute facial and a professional peel in one bottle. It works in just five minutes. It’s a game changer.”

FOREO LUNA 4 Hair ($199)

Covered in 395 hygienic silicone bristles, this high-tech, waterproof device combines the brand’s T-Sonic pulsations with red LED light for the ultimate scalp-care treatment. The physical massage element not only feels good and removes buildup, but also stimulates blood flow to the scalp in a much more efficient way than using a manual scalp brush. This is crucial for optimal hair health as well, and very beneficial for those with thinning hair.

“We’ve been working diligently to bring our beauty technology expertise to the hair-care category,” says Evan Feldstein, general manager, United States and Canada at FOREO. “The increasing problem of hair loss that affects both men and women worldwide has incited the need for natural and science-based advanced solutions. The prevalence of the problem shifted focus from just addressing hair issues to caring for the scalp. Just as the LUNA facial-cleansing device transformed skin care, we believe this will revolutionize how consumers care for their hair.

DEINDE Barrier-Building Moisture Cream ($64)

Designed to target signs of inflammaging—dryness in particular—this moisturizer utilizes the brand’s patented biotech ingredient Naringenin and combines it with hyaluronic acid, skin-identical lipids and polysaccharides to strengthen and replenish the skin barrier.

“We prioritize biotech active ingredients in our formulas because it allows us to produce isolated actives with consistency and precision dosage for the best benefits possible,” says Dominique Gagnon, president of DEINDE. “You also get all the benefits of nature without the harm. Our team dreamt up this product a couple years ago and it took 50 formulations to find the perfect, ultimate formula. One of the trickiest parts was achieving the texture. It has a cloud-like, gel-cream texture and it’s super nourishing and refreshing on the skin.”

Livi Beauty The Gel Manicure System ($83)

Founded by three busy moms who also happen to be best friends, Livi Beauty is a new brand designed for anyone who feels “trapped by the endless salon cycle,” as the founders say. I can relate, as my salon visits have been far and few between since having my two girls (even as a beauty editor). This at-home kit includes everything you need to achieve a salon-worthy gel mani in 20 minutes (and you don’t have to leave a tip!) that lasts at least a week.

You’ll get 20 pre-cut and 10-free nail stickers in various sizes and two nail colors (choose them at checkout), in addition to a mini curing lamp, cuticle oil, nail tools and a travel bag. Livi currently has six popular nail polish shades (white, pink, red, etc.), but will soon be adding more. The removal process is easy and acetone-free as well. For those who like a subscription model, you can get the kit for $50 instead, with more stickers and different shades coming to you monthly. And, you can also schedule a complimentary demo session online, so you can quickly learn how to use the kit.

The doctor-founded French brand is at it again with a new launch inspired by mesotherapy, an in-office treatment that is popular in Europe and involves microscopic injections of vitamins, enzymes and more to rejuvenate and repair the skin. This skin-softening cream contains similar vitamins mixed with peptides, NAD, silicum and plant extracts, which are used in brand’s proprietary wrinkle-filling NCEF technology.

Together, the ingredients firm and smooth the skin to minimize the appearance of wrinkles and boost radiance. In a clinical study, 97 percent of women saw plumper skin after just seven days, applying the cream twice a day. And, in 28 days, 93 percent saw more skin elasticity, and 90 percent saw more luminous skin.

Being Frenshe x Canopy Bedside Humidifier 2.0 Set ($179)

There are a couple big things to unpack here. First, Canopy has a brand-new version of its beloved and NewBeauty Award–winning Humidifier. Second, you can get the new version as part of a limited-edition collab with Ashley Tisdale’s brand Being Frenshe, which has developed quite the cult following.

“Everything you know and love about the 1.0 version of the Humidifier is still here: the mist-free technology, the mold-inhibiting properties and the easy-clean elements,” says Eric Neher, chief marketing officer at Canopy. “We kept the things customers liked best, but added some new features as well. You’ll notice a slightly updated, sleeker design. You’ll also notice a new blue filter with a fuzzy wrap that grabs dust and other large particles before they reach the paper. So, now you also get an air-filtration benefit. All of the plastics are now treated with an antimicrobial treatment, too, so the plastic itself inhibits mold in an even better way. We actually did a third-party study that showed that against typical humidifier models on the market, ours prevents mold 99 percent more effectively.” The brand added a built-in night light feature, too. “You can choose red light, which is great because it doesn’t disrupt melatonin, or a soft white light, and both are dimmable. There’s also a white noise feature with three volume settings.”

Neher says Canopy wanted to partner with Being Frenshe because of Tisdale’s candor around her mental health journey, and the brand is built around pillars of scent. “She talks about needing to build wellness rituals into her day in order to ground herself, and I think we can all relate to that. Her top three scents—Cashmere Vanilla, Lavender Cloud and Palo Santo Sage—have been translated into the aroma diffusion for the Humidifier.”

KJH.brand Soft Smudge Lip & Cheek ($24)

If you love makeup and don’t already follow makeup artist Katie Jane Hughes, stop what you’re doing and add her to your lineup. Last year, she launched her own brand with the Hyper Shine High Lite Kit (a modern, three-piece take on highlighter, though you can now also buy each product separately).

This month, she introduces a waterless lip-and-cheek stick that nourishes the skin as it delivers watercolor-like pigment. It’s giving the blurring trend that’s so big right now. Available in five shades—Berry, Pink, Raisin, Coral and Tomato—it’s “a gorgeous cream-to-powder texture that literally applies like velvet to your skin for that perfect, smudgy blend,” says Hughes. “It can be used on your cheeks and your lips, because if you know me, you know I love a multiple-use product. It blends like a dream.”

Ultraceuticals Ultra B² Hydrating Eye Mask ($79)

For me personally, a refreshing hydrogel eye mask is one of the bests way to wake up. I wear them while I take my vitamins, brush my teeth and drink my coffee (I often forget I have them on), and they energize me for the day ahead. These new gold eye masks from Aussie brand Ultraceuticals are clinically proven to reduce puffiness and instantly brighten, hydrate and plump the skin under the eyes.

Infused with hyaluronic acid, panthenol, niacinamide and peptides, they do a lot more than just refresh. “Our proprietary Peptide + B² technology offers an effective treatment that delivers immediate and visible results,” says Tracey Beeby, the brand’s global education ambassador. These masks provide a quick and easy solution to under-eye concerns, from puffiness and dark circles to dehydration, fine lines and wrinkles.” Use them every day or as little as three times a week to see results.
