Pantone just announced that 2025’s Color of the Year is the shade “Mocha Mousse” (or PANTONE 17-1230), a color described as a “delectable quality of cacao, chocolate and coffee.” And while “Mocha Mousse” isn’t quite a prediction of the year’s hottest nail color, we’re calling it now. Between Hailey Bieber’s coffee nails, latte nails, espresso martini nails, caramel chrome nails, burnt sugar nails, hot chocolate nails and chocolate dipped nails, we can’t say we’re at all surprised a shade of brown is 2025’s reigning color.
