Sol de Janeiro Delicia Drench Shower Oil ($26)
We all know that the best body-care routine begins in the shower, and this deliciously scented body wash will be love at first squeeze. Before you even apply the oil-to-foam formula to your body for a sudsy—not stripping—cleanse, you’ll smell the yummy Cheirosa 59 scent, a woody vanilla. To deeply moisturize dry and dehydrated skin types (hello winter skin!), the brand combined a base of over 50-percent glycerin with a blend of Brazilian oils. Together, they leave skin nourished, soothed and silky soft.
RIKI LOVES RIKI High-Roller Advanced LED Therapy Face Roller ($150)
For a mini spa treatment at home, try this new high-tech face roller. “We took the idea of the traditional jade roller and added LED light for an all-in-one skin solution you’ve never seen before,” says cofounder and CMO Wanchen Kaiser. “It’s a four-in-one face roller. It has red, blue and near-infrared LED light, plus microcurrent. With a regular roller, you can’t really go in and sculpt your face. With this one, you can give yourself a nice massage and really de-puff and sculpt. The strong microcurrent stimulates the muscle to tighten the skin, and it also stimulates blood circulation and enhances lymphatic drainage.”
Each treatment is just six minutes per day, and you can customize it based on your skin’s needs by switching between different modes. Plus, the blue light is also helpful for acne-prone skin.
First Aid Beauty Ultra Repair Rescue Barrier Balm ($36)
Consider this balm your SOS skin-care product. It’s the one you reach for when your skin is super parched, chapped or ultra-sensitive. You know that terrible windburn feeling? Or the irritation that ensues after using a prescription-strength acne treatment or retinoid? This rich balm will help.
The key ingredient is 1-percent dimethicone, which provides immediate relief and protects the skin from further harm, but it won’t clog pores. FAB also added colloidal oatmeal, the skin soother we all know and love, and glycerin, which lends necessary hydration. Plus, it’s fragrance-free and we also love using it as a hand cream.
Flamingo Nourishing Shave Oil ($10)
We’ve been loving silky shave oils instead of creams this year for a luxurious spin on a routine task. This one combines coconut, argan and avocado oils for a superior razor glide that doesn’t miss any hair. It’s also dermatologist-tested and safe for sensitive skin, and we love the warm, tropical scent of coconut and amber. It’s not too strong, so you can still wear scented body lotion or perfume when you use it.

I have been a tubing mascara devotee for about five years, and I’m always excited to see a new launch hit the market. This category has been expanding like wildfire this year, and this new one is worth a try. It’s the first tubing mascara to meet Credo’s Clean Standard and it also contains argan oil to strengthen lashes.
“Tubing mascaras have never been ‘Credo Clean’ until now,” says Sahar Rohani, cofounder and CEO of SOSHE Beauty. “Everyone told us it wasn’t possible to make one, but we met with manufacturers and chemists all over the world until we found a partner that could make it happen. Drunk Elephant Therabu Buttered Reparative Hand Cream ($24)
Temperatures have officially dropped in most parts of the country, and that means it’s hand cream season. This nourishing formula contains rich marula and shea butters and calming oat extracts to soften and repair dry skin while also helping to reduce visible signs of aging, like crepey skin. In clinical testing, 100 percent of participants showed instant improvement in texture and elasticity. Though the cream is free of synthetic fragrance (like all Drunk Elephant products), it contains vanilla fruit extract, which gives it a subtly sweet scent.
Morphe Bi-Liner Dual-Ended Gel Pencil ($14)

Iris&Romeo Skin Cocoon Barrier Glow Serum ($58)
Everyone is talking about barrier creams, but what about barrier serums? When your skin needs a little extra TLC, use both. Described to me as acting like “a puffy down jacket for the skin,” this plumping serum combines your serum, moisturizer and oil into one step, all with optimal barrier health in mind.
Infused with 11 concentrated actives and lipids, it’s clinically proven to hydrate and soothe the skin barrier while also providing a visible plumping effect. And, as it addresses “barrier breakdown,” it helps prevent collagen loss, dehydration and eczema/rosacea flares. Biossance Squalane + Firm and Lift Dual Serum ($68)
“This serum is incredibly unique and special,” says McKenzie Rose, director of global education for Biossance. “It is our first bi-phase serum, meaning it has an oil phase and water phase, so you need to shake to activate it, which allows for the two phases to both be pulled into the dropper together. This serum has our highest amount of biotech active ingredients out of our treatment products and packs a punch when it comes to results.”
In clinical trials, Rose tells me participants saw more lifted and firmer-looking skin, and had a measured improvement in skin elasticity. “It really targets the visible signs of living, which can be lines, wrinkles and loss of volume,” she explains. “If you want your skin to look and feel tighter and more sculpted, this is a great serum to add into your morning or night routine—or both!”
