“So, for January 2025, I was going to possibly have, like, a browlift or some kind of really invasive surgery that I’ve been, you know, looking into getting,” Nikki Glaser revealed during an interview on CBS Sunday Morning. The procedure would have required her to step out of the spotlight for recovery, but her plans changed after her team reached out with a new opportunity.
“[Members of my team were] like, ‘So, this operation, is there any way you could push it ’til maybe the second week of January?’” Glaser recalled. She quickly agreed to postpone the surgery upon learning she had been chosen to host the 2025 Golden Globes. “It’s the kind of procedure where you disappear for a while and then reemerge,” she explained.
A browlift is meant to elevate drooping eyebrows, smooth out forehead wrinkles and rejuvenate the eye area. Glaser admitted the procedure has been on her mind for a while.
While the comedian hasn’t ruled out revisiting her surgical plans in the future, her attention is currently focused on preparing for film and television’s biggest night. “I’m gonna nail it,” she said. “Maybe I won’t nail it in some people’s eyes, but I will have nailed it in my eyes because I have set up a system leading up to it that I couldn’t possibly work harder on it.”
