Lakers forward Anthony Davis doesn't expect to miss additional action after leaving Los Angeles' 108-107 road loss to the Miami Heat on Monday due to left hip spasms.
Davis said postgame regarding his prospects of playing in the Lakers' next game, on Wednesday against the host Houston Rockets, "Everything's going to be fine. I'll be ready to go for Wednesday, for sure."
The injury occurred in the second quarter, and Davis attempted to keep playing before coming out for the last 2:17 before halftime.
He returned to the court for the start of the second half wound up leaving again late in the third quarter and sitting out the fourth quarter.
Davis finished the night with nine points, six rebounds and four assists in 25 minutes.
Through seven games this season, Davis is averaging 23.9 points, 12 rebounds and a league-leading 3.3 blocked shots. The eight-time All-Star has career averages of 24 points, 10.4 points and 2.3 blocks.
The Lakers have lost two games in a row to open a four-game road trip.
