Pascal Siakam recorded season bests of 31 points and 12 rebounds and also had five assists to help the Toronto Raptors knock off the host Dallas Mavericks 127-116 on Wednesday night.
OG Anunoby added 26 points and Dennis Schroder had 18 for the Raptors, who won for the third time in the past four games. Gary Trent Jr. made four 3-pointers while scoring 16 points off the bench and Scottie Barnes contributed 14 points, season highs of 14 rebounds and four steals along with seven assists and two blocked shots for Toronto.
Luka Doncic registered 31 points, eight assists, seven rebounds and four steals for the Mavericks, who fell for just the second time in eight games this season. Kyrie Irving added 22 points, Tim Hardaway Jr. buried five 3-pointers while scoring 17 points and Derrick Jones Jr. had 15 points.
A three-point play by Barnes gave the Raptors a 119-104 lead with 6:13 left in the game.
Dallas moved within single digits on Doncic's layup to cut the Toronto lead to 123-114 with 2:05 to play.
The Raptors led by 11 when Barnes blocked a 3-point attempt by Grant Williams with one minute remaining as Toronto closed it out.
The Raptors made 49.5 percent from the field, including 11 of 36 from 3-point range. Chris Boucher had 10 points off the bench.
The Mavericks connected on 47.6 percent of their attempts and were 17 of 41 from behind the arc. Doncic missed eight of his 10 3-point attempts.
Siakam and Anunoby scored 16 points apiece as Toronto led 62-58 at the break. Doncic scored 16 in the half for Dallas.
The score was tied at 73 in the third quarter before Siakam scored six points and Anunoby added five during a 13-1 burst. Schroder hit an 18-footer to cap it and give the Raptors an 86-74 lead with 4:47 left in the third quarter.
Two 3-pointers in 74 seconds by Hardaway helped Dallas move within 89-84 with 2:21 left. But Malachi Flynn's 3-pointer with 5.2 seconds left pushed the Toronto lead to 99-88 entering the final stanza.
